  31. Yep, it is possible. Wonder Computers and their engineering division called
  32. Lazarus has released a screen blanker package called Power Manager. Version
  33. 2.0 will be the first commercial release, although some like myself have
  34. been running it since AmiJam '95 last July in Calgary. However, it only
  35. recently started working properly for me when using it with a Picasso. I
  36. now run version 1.4 and am quite happy that my monitor does the proper
  37. DPMS power standby.

  39. Note that Power Manager is also a disk caching package, and a disk power
  40. management package (for spinning down hard drives while they are inactive;
  41. works only on some drives). I personally only use the screen blanker side
  42. of the package. I am not sure of the commercial cost of the package, but
  43. I paid $29.95 CDN at the show.
